NoMeansNo - The Day Everything Became Nothing
Album: The Day Everything Became Nothing (EP) Released: 1988 Label: Alternative Tentacles Rob Wright: Vocals, Bass, Guitar John Wright: Vocals, Drums, Keyboards, Percussion Andy Kerr: Vocals, Guitar The day everything became nothing I was standing underneath a streetlight wishing I had a cigarette. I can't recall anything unusual about it If there was something in the air if the skies had clouded over I wasn't aware, I was too bored to care. No thunder roared. No lightning cracked. No missiles rained from the sky. This was no sneak attack. There was just suddenly this awful lack. Things had changed, that's for sure. The day everything became nothing you couldn't put your finger on what had gone wrong. The alleys were still dirty the garbage still smelled there was no panic in the streets just a lot of grief--in people's faces, in their eyes--a mixture of horror and total surprise. This was no apocalypse. No one heard a voice from the sky There were no miracles at the 7-11 no one screamed, no one even asked why. It was just like everything had somehow, quietly died. So let it die! I can't recall much of what happened next. I was on my way to visit this woman I knew. All we had in common was good sex and now I couldn't even remember her address. A group of us, just strangers, got together and we formed a committee to discuss the problem. We talked about things like assured mutual destruction and emotional responsibility. I couldn't remember my name, so I called myself Bob ...

Stuck In The Middle With You - Stealers Wheel
Groovy! "Stuck in the Middle With You" or, as originally titled, "Stuck in the Middle", is a song by Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty and performed by their band Stealers Wheel. Stuck in the Middle With You was released on Stealers Wheel's 1972 self-titled debut album Stealers Wheel. The single sold over one million copies, eventually peaking in 1973 at #6 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and #8 in the UK Singles Chart. Stealers Wheel is a Scottish folk rock/rock band formed in Paisley, Renfrewshire in 1972 by former school friends Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty. The band broke up in 1975 and was re-formed in 2008. Rafferty and Egan first met when they were teenagers in Paisley and they became the core of Stealers Wheel. In the early 1970s, the band was considered to be the British version of American folk/rock super group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. They were initially joined by Roger Brown, Rab Noakes and Ian Campbell in 1972. However, that line-up only lasted a few months and by the time the band was signed to A&M Records later that same year, Brown, Noakes and Campbell had been replaced by Paul Pilnick, Tony Williams and Rod Coombes. This line-up recorded their eponymous debut album, Stealers Wheel and was produced by the influential American songwriters and producers Leiber & Stoller. The album was a critical and commercial success reaching number fifty in the US album charts, with their million selling hit single "Stuck in the Middle", coming from the album. By the time ...

Kerbal Space Program,(5840 m/s 950 km)Hercules project
Version: 0.8.0. The Hercules project "nouvelle story" First 2 hours in this game was difficult to pass over 4500 m than.. look 7603 m!! woow than I continue and first flight over 65 000m was around 4 hour later, than after many failures to pass 100km I gave up at the end of the day. Few days later with little more experience my intent was to reach the stars far far away so I start new "Hercules" project. At early stages the new "Hercules I" was born with last stage speed(when u release shuttle from last module): speed 3720 m/s at 418 km. But that wasnt enough for me so I continue on rebuild model and few hours later was born "Hercules II" :D...with last stage speed 4621 m/s at altitude 513 km that was wooow for me!! hehe, than ofcourse I though next generation of "hercules" should be easy just to upgreade previous model but..hour after hour, day after days failures, nothing what I made wasnt strong and fast enough to satisfy my desire and will "to reach the stars". Than when I had to study for my exams at Uni, I start on "Hercules III" project. My goal was to leave that misery planet forever what gave me strenght and will to work toward and after many hours of tests and failures I create new base for "Hercules III" and after new tests and upgrades at the end of the day I have finally test it and the result was WOOW for me! 5840 m/s at altitude 940 km! thats it I made it!! yeeaa my desire became true! :)I was so happy like a child :DD.. ok but i fail on my exam :D it doesnt ...

NAUSEA | The Catharsis
Our new song, recorded, mixed and mastered by Connor Jobes and Andy Mallaby :www.facebook.com Keep up to date with us via Facebook: www.facebook.com Vocals/Keys: Conor Fenwick Guitar: Alex Simpson Guitar: Tom Dingwall Bass: Michael Page Drums: Darren Walton Lyrics: Swallow, Don't claim it's ignorance, You're not alive anymore, just a part of time, You turned your back on me, the only one that ever fucking cared, While I'm in this state of mind you really should be fucking scared, In my world of self-destruction I will evade reality, It has become as though every single thing is just a dream, In absolution I ascend and forget the tragedies, I've lost my human form, a means to an end, take me away, These nightmares, live through the day, and I cannot wait to escape, escape, This blissful abyss in between dimensions is where I will stay, There's nothing right about this but it feels like there's no other way, After all of your hatred, I became the monster you designed, And I won't stop until you scream, Cry terror, and forget everything I've done, In cryogenesis I faced realisation that here's nowhere I belong, Another knife in my back, and I grew tired of your hypocrisy, and here's the irony... YOU'RE NOTHING WITHOUT ME! No, you're nothing without me, But I capsized at sea, I'm falling into oblivion, I'm living just to dream, I lost myself, To hell I must descend, So don't tell me it's going to be okay, because in this world, we lost our way.

Bethany Joy Lenz | Girl In The Moon
PURCHASE THIS SONG NOW ON ITUNES AND CDBABY. itunes.apple.com Overview The Girl in the Moon This song was written during a time when I was feeling particularly far from my family. Living on opposite sides of the country can be very challenging. At times I feel like Im on the outside looking in. I was inspired to write this after coming across a painting. Eventually, the meaning of the song evolved. As I searched for the second verse it became more about the idea of a girl who is worshipped from afar but who has no real friends—she pushes everyone away. She is the moon—adored by all the world, but keeps herself distant. All the stars look on waiting for the day when she will choose to no longer be lonely. #7.13 - "Weeks Go By Like Days" NATHAN AND JAMIE JOIN HALEY ON THE ROAD The Scott family joins Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) on the last leg of her tour. Airing: January 18, 2010 @ 8PM Lyrics: The girl in the moon Is alone with the stars And the spaceships The girl in the moon Is alone and alive With the dust and the air Nothing grows Everything is moving But only goes in circles And no one to talk to Is reason enough to be blue The girl in the moon (We've been waiting to see) With her dreams (If this girl she will smile) Has a steel melting smile (Before she disappears) But the girl with the blues (You know we've been waiting here) In the moon (For such a long while) Hasn't smiled for a long while Nothing grows Everything is moving But only goes around her And no one to ...

James Burke : Connections, Episode 4, "Faith In Numbers", 5 of 5 (CC)
Watch Entire Show: www.youtube.com More Shows: www.youtube.com Episode 4 of James Burke's most well-known series "Connections" which explores the surprising and unexpected ways that our modern technological world came into existence. Each episode investigates the background of usually one particular modern invention and how it came into being. These explorations are an attempt to locate the "connections" between various historical figures who seemingly had nothing to do with each other in their own times, however once connected, these same figures combined to produce some of the most profound impacts on our modern day world; in a "1+1=3" type of way. It is this type of investigation that is the main idea behind the Knowledge Web project; whereby sophisticated software is used to attempt to discover these subtle interconnections automatically. Why Michael Jackson's Skin Became White, Leviticus 13, Pt1
Black girl who turned white: www.dailymail.co.uk For many years, members of the media, comedians and others persecuted Michael Jackson about his change in skin pigmentation. This was a condition that had nothing to do with Michael Jackson but everything to do with genetic mutation of the skin. It has been happening to Blacks for thousands of years. It is how whites came into existence. They are recessive genetic copies of African peoples. This was also spelled out thousands of years ago in Africa when Moses was there. It is written in the Torah (Old Testament Bible) book of Leviticus 13th chapter. It speaks of the "scalp" as you will here in this video interview. Then it speaks of the different skin conditions ranging from sores to no sores, to turning completely white. It also speaks of blond hair, freckles, red hair, etc. However, it is clear that the baseline is black skin, black hair and no sores.

billy talent - nothing to lose (music video)
The guys who mentioned it, here are the new lyrics xD Lyrics: Need more friends with wings, All the angels I know put concrete in my veins I'd always walk home alone, So I became lifeless just like my telephone There's nothing to lose When no one knows your name There's nothing to gain But the days don't seem to change Never played truth or dare, I'd have to check my mirror to see if I'm still here My parents had no clue, That I ate all my lunches alone in the bathroom There's nothing to lose When no one knows your name There's nothing to gain But the days don't seem to change There's nothing to lose My notebook will explain There's nothing to gain And I can't fight the pain Teacher said it's just a phase, When I grow up, my children will probably do the same Kids just love to tease, Who'd know it'd put me underground at 17 There's nothing to lose When no one knows your name There's nothing to gain But the days don't seem to change There's nothing to lose My notebook will explain There's nothing to gain And I just died today

Poison - Nothing But A Good Time
1988) The music video features as a restaurant employee washing dishes while listening to the Kiss hit single Rock and Roll All Nite, performed by Poison. The manager enters, turns off the radio, and delivers to the employee a scathing reprimand, reminding the employee that he's being paid "to wash dishes, not to listen to that... that rock 'n' roll," and accusing him of "moving in two speeds: slow, and stop." The manager exits, whereupon the employee abandons the dishes and kicks open a nearby door to reveal a concert hall stage, upon which the band then performs the song. When the song is over, the manager returns, discovering, to his surprise, that all the dishes are washed. _______________________________ In a decade fueled by party anthems and power ballads, Poison found a high amount of popularity, with only Bon Jovi and Def Leppard outselling them. While the group had a long string of hits, they soon became just as renowned for their stage show, and continued to be a major attraction over the course of their first three albums. Although their success was rather short-lived, one cannot deny the major effect that Poison had on the music industry during their career. Formerly known as Paris, Poison was formed in 1984 by singer Bret Michaels, bassist Bobby Dall, and drummer Rikki Rockett. After traveling from Harrisburg, PA, to Los Angeles, CA, the band added guitarist CC Deville to their lineup. The group was signed to Enigma Records in 1986, where they released their ...
