Mahafsoun Bellydance ~ Opeth {Closure}
This is a Bellydance video of me, improvising to the song "Closure" by the Swedish progressive metal band, Opeth. This video was recorded hours after I first heard this song. I was trying it out and ended up enjoying dancing to it. I will eventually post an updated version, dancing to this song. I am a 19year-old Persian Bellydancer, with drops of Azerbaijani and Egyptian in my blood. This combination, aside many other reasons, makes me passionate about some of the most beautiful dance forms in the world - Oriental Dances. Out of all the magickal dances of the Middle East, at the age of 15 I fell eternally in love with the spiritual, ancient and immortal art of Bellydance. To this day that undying desire is growing. By no means is it a note for note perfect cover, but we try to make it as correct as we can. There are a few mistakes an what not but it is just a practice.
