Rotten Sound- Cursed ALBUM REVIEW
Listen: theneedledrop.com Rotten Sound's Curse is a loud record. No one can deny that. They have the speedy blast beats, vocals, and guitar riffs every grindcore band should have. However, this LP loses a lot of potential energy in its extremely regulated recording. I know the in-the-moment sound bands like Terrorizer and Napalm Death had is a thing of the past, but even Pig Destroyer is a lot less scheduled than this band. The high-gloss finish on this production and the impressive musicianship will make this album entertaining for a lot of people, which is fine. That's just not what I look for in my grindcore, that's all. I'm looking for a group of guys to show me their energy as group, not a studio project. What do you think of this album? Rotten Sound - Agony
Rotten Sound is that fucking brutal and intense grindcore band from FINLAND! This is the last track from the album Murderworks...the song is called Agony. I could have uploaded a song from Exit or maybe Cycles...latter one is probably my favorite from this band except for the change of drummer...but Murderworks sounds more fucking brutal than Cycles and if this record had a bit better production then it would be actually better than Exit! This song has that legendary grindcore producer (who also produced this record & Exit) Mieszko Talarczyk singing a duet with Keijo Niinimaa...Keijo does those growls and Mieszko does those high screams. By the way this song isn't really 5 minutes long....it ends a bit before the 3 minute mark and the rest is some long atmospheric outro...but it's all still awesome stuff! Raw guitar, angry vocals and of course we have the fucking human beast of a drummer KAI HAHTO blasting this sick shit man! That dude is insane!!
