Slash has completed the first recording session for his upcoming solo album at Barefoot Recording in Hollywood, California. The current members of his band are: vocalist Myles Kennedy , rhythm guitarist Bobby Schneck, bassist Todd Kerns, and drummer Brent Fitz.Slash has 13 [more] songs ready to record. Three already done. Two more to finish writing before December. There will be 12 on the record, six bonus tracks. Following the holidays, Between the Buried and Me will begin writing new material in January for their next album, tentatively expected in fall 2012.Paul told Synthesis.net, "We'll finish this tour up and go home for the holidays and once the new year starts we'll start kicking it into high gear, try to write a full-length and hopefully have it out this time next year. It's definitely on the horizon. TERRORIZER will call their new CD "Hordes Of Zombies" , due out in North America on February 28, 2012. During his November 18th solo acoustic show in Dallas, TX, SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor held a Q&A session with the audience. Footage is available on youtubne, including Taylor tackling the question of what it was like working with producer Rick Rubin on Slipknot's 2004 album, Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses). Let's put it this way I don't think Taylor will be working with Rick Rubin any time soon BLACK SABBATH , LYNYRD SKYNYRD, AMON AMARTH and MACHINE HEAD are the latest acts confirmed for Hellfest 2012, to be held in Clisson, France on June 15th - 17th ANTHRAX ...
