Mortal Coil (Promo)
'MORTAL COIL' formed in Newcastle College in september of 2009. It started with a band called 'DETONATION' with Jamie Slesser, Sean Mennim, Tom Glacier, Scott Mackie, and Caitlin Harme. Jamie and Sean decided it was time to form a new band, to play Heavy/Melodic Metal which was a change from the Hard Rock/progressive style of 'DETONATION'. In college, Jamie and Sean met Jak Taylor, and began discussing music styles, and all of the ideas were on the same path as what Jamie and Sean were looking for. When they began jamming together in practise rooms in college, they invited Jordan Carrington to jam. They all decided to form a band together under the name, 'THE BLOODLINE', and after about a month, Jordan was unfortunatly let go from the band as he was occupied with his other band. Jamie and Sean were astounded to find that Tom Glacier was in college doing the same course as them. He began playing bass with them again. The band discovered that they were sounding heavier with Tom's pounding, tight, bass playing style. Michael Thompson, a friend of Jak's asked to join the band, so he was auditioned and he fitted the band very well, and is now the lead-man of the band. Video Produced and Edited by : Paul Grieve
