Macabre End-Spawn Of Flesh
Formed in 1989 in VÃ¥lberg,Sweden. In the beginning, they've done a few songs and rehearsals under the name BPB (Botten PÃ¥ Burken), influenced by Grindcore bands like Napalm Death,Agathocles, Carcass, and others. But later, they've changed their sound to Death Metal, and changed their name to Macabre End. In 1990, they recorded their first demo, "Consumed By Darkness", which was re-released a year later as a 7'' by the French label Corpse Grinder Rcords. After the release of the 7'', they've changed their name to God Macabre.

Demigod - Tears of God
Finnish death metal. From the album, "Slumber of Sullen Eyes". Released in 1992 by Drowned Productions. Demigod's classic debut album. A slightly different approach than bands of the Swedish scene, Demigod's riffing is incredibly fast and intricate drawing influence from Floridian death metal bands. They also make use of traditional harmonies and deep growled vocals. The drumming is also excellent. In the past couple of years this album has seen a few reissues, but the awesome cover art is a little different.
