World of Warcraft: Whispering Forest: Faerie Dragon event
This is the first video I frapsed of the event, check my other video for how it looks at night. The Whispering Forest is a subzone of Tirisfal Glades. It was added in the Rise of the Zandalari patch 4.1. This mysterious ring of glowing mushrooms can be found in the forest. 7 Fey-Drunk Darters spawn outside the ring, one at a time and it takes about 40 minutes, and 10-15 minutes after all have spawned they gather around the ring of mushrooms and start to channel a golden beam to a Faerie Portal in the center which can be targeted /target Faerie Portal. The music changes and it's like they sing as notes appear over their heads. Investigative Report Video for The Whispering Forest 7-13-2011
I go with a couple guildies (one was only there for the boring hour or so where nothing happened) to look at the Whispering Forest NW of Deathknell in the Forsaken starting zone. This area has had little bits added each major content patch since Cataclysm... I guess 4.2 saw the addition of it being named and something else. This video shows just about everything you can see there. Edit: Wow when did this get to 1000+ views?! Thanks guys! :D

WoW Easter egg - Whispering Forest's Faerie Dragon Song
People have been wondering what the mushroom circle in Tirisfal Glades was ment for. Now since either patch 4.1 - 4.2 *most likely 4.2* people can witness this event where a npc spawns named: Fey-Drunk Darter (Faerie Dragons) followed by 6 more (making 7 in total). After 7 Fey-Drunk Darters have spawned this event will occur after around 10 more minuts. The music of the zone will change and alot of extra stags spawn. All NPC's in the zone are lvl 80 and the event is not related to any ingame quests. The spell effects around the circle are very impresive as well. The Whispering Forest in World of Warcraft
Somewhere in the forests of Tirisfal Glades you can find the Whispering Forest. This place is very mysterious, inhabited by undead stags and does, and a bear (and plenty of rats). About every sixth hour or so (not confirmed) this strange event takes place deep inside the forest. The Fey dragons will gather up around the mushroom ring and sing a song, opening a Fey portal. All the stags and does in the forest will gather to see it. I found this place for the first time during the Cataclysm beta, I was eager to find out what was behind the hills in Tirisfal Glades that couldn't be discovered before Cataclysm. All I found then was the mushroom ring and rats. So I went back there now to see if anything had changed, when I noticed the stags I looked it up and read about the strange event taking place there.
