Released in 2008 on Editions Mego. Skyquake is a collaboration between Stephen O'Malley (Khanate, Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine, Lotus Eaters, Sunn 0 )))), Æthenor, KTL) and Attila Csihar (Burial Chamber Trio, Grave Temple, Korog, Mayhem, Sunn O))), Tormentor) They were commissioned to some music for a New York sculptor named Banks Violette for an exhibit. The music here is very sparse, It consists mostly of a high pitched frequency, Gregorian like chanting and occasional guitar and a bell. That goes on for 34 minutes. The original piece was over 8 hours long. Not the most impressive piece of work. Very minimal. Wasn't abrasive or grating. Wasn't as bottom heavy as Sunn 0))). Nothing to menacing about it. Just a cold, distant, moody piece of music.
