Egal ob AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Metallica oder wie sie alle heißen... auf dieser grundlegenden Basis baut jeder auf. Dann fängst Du an verschiedene Elemente zu mischen, entwickelst weiter, minimalisierst oder übertreibst, die Möglichkeiten sind unbegrenzt. Irgendwann findest Du Dich wieder in einem total spezialisiertem Genre welches mit der eigentlichen Grundidee des guten, alten Rock'n Roll nicht mehr viel zu tun hat, und genau dann hörst du sie zufällig wieder - die guten alten Platten von damals - der absolut ehrliche, echte Shit! Und du denkst dir: Wow, das ist es, das ist der Sound den ich mein Leben lang hören werde, egal welche Trends auch kommen und gehen. Genau diese Entwicklung machten auch die vier Jungs von Narrow Valley durch. Jeder sammelte seine Erfahrungen in diversen anderen Bands, Bands die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten. Von Punkrock über Hardcore und Metal bis hin zu Trash war alles vertreten... Doch irgendwann kam bei allen genau dieser Punkt an dem man sich an seine Wurzeln erinnert.
