G-Rad: DragonForce - Through The Fire And Flames drum cover with drumless track
Songs of this calibur, fast and furious, haha., I need to record my covers with the original song, and not a drumless track. Either that or use a metronome. Songs like this are so fast, I can get lost easily, especially since I can't hear very well and it's hard enough for me to tell what's going on half the time. Regardless, it is a fun jam. This song is fast and fun. Only difficulty is the stamina required. I use a heel-toe technique for my bass drums. Mock it if you wish, but it's just easier fo rme. and there's no right or wrong way to play double bass. This song is probably the most doube-bass heaviest song, aside from "This Calling" that I've done so far. I'll do more, I'm sure. Dragonforce-Through the Fire and Flames w/Pod x3 Live
To make this video I used a backing track that I found here... www.guitarbackingtrack.com It has ALL of the guitar tracks removed so every guitar you hear I DID!! I used a Zoom HD16 Multitrack recorder (you can see the levels of the other guitars light up green on it behind me) and left the track off that I play during the video. I also used a custom tone on the Pod x3 that I made myself. You will also hear some parts I made myself to account for not having a guitar with a whammy bar.
