My Top 10 Albums of 2011 (Metal)
It was a difficult list to come up with, but ultimately I decided to stick close to home and choose from among the bands I listen to on a very regular basis. Bottom line is these albums have been blasted countless times this year. What a phenomenal year for metal. I had to cut some out to make it a top 10 list but here are some honorable mentions: Anthrax Steel Panther As I Lay Dying (the 3 new songs) and many more These albums were not ranked by anything specific, I enjoy all of them equally. The ranking is mostly based on the initial "wow" factor of the album, and how much the band has increased over the last album. Enjoy.
